After consecutive defeats to Lyon (6-0) and Saint Etienne (0-4), French D1 Arkema side, DFCO Dijon returned to winning ways thanks to captain Desire Oparanozie who netted twice.

Lena Goetsch set up Desire Oparanozie for Dijon’s opening goal in the 24th minute. Kelly Gadea equalised for Soyaux in the 51st minute before Oparanozie’s winning goal immediately after kick-off.

At the other end, Nigerian international, Onyinyechi Zogg was replaced by Corina Luijks in the 46th minute for Soyaux.

Soyaux occupies the 11th position with three points from five games ahead of its next game against Chiamaka Nnadozie’s Paris FC on October 16.
