Nigeria U20 women’s team, Falconets stopped CAR 4-0 today at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos to advance 11-0 on aggregate after they won their first leg in Douala 7-0.

Falconets will meet the overall winners between Egypt and DR Congo in the next round of the qualifiers for the World Cup next year in Costa Rica.

Sebastian Flourish opened the scoring for the Nigerian side in the 13th minute, before Idoko Mercy converted the second goal in the 35th minute to give the hosts halftime lead.

Idoko Mercy scored her second of the game to give Nigeria a three-goal lead in the 52nd minute while Blessing Okpe completed the rout a minute to full time.

They will meet the overall winners between Egypt and DR Congo in the next round of the qualifiers for the World Cup next year in Costa Rica.

Mercy Idoko was named Woman of the Match with a prize of 500,000 Naira.
