Giants of Africa and President of NBA side Toronto Raptors, Masai Ujiri announced today that they will unveil four new Basketball courts in Lagos, Nigeria later this month.
Masai Ujiri who last month revealed his plans to build 100 basketball courts in Africa, will begin that journey when he visits Nigeria.
The courts which are based in Lagos include, Ilupeju Grammar School, Oworonshoki, New Practice court for Lagos Warriors Basketball Club and Ijeshatado Grammar School, will be unveiled when Ujiri and other representatives arrive the country.
The aforementioned Raptors president co-founded Giants of Africa with aspirations to help young boys and girls Dream Big, and visualize opportunities for their future in Africa and around the world. The project which will span for years, has kick-started with over ten new court builds and remodeling will be unveiled across locations in Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso over the next three months. The remaining will be unveiled in years to come, and will be strategically located in ‘underserved’ communities.
