Barcelona and Pedri have reached an agreement on a contract extension according to reliable transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano.
The new contract runs until 2026 and contains a pretty wild release clause aimed at putting off any potential admirers.
Fabrizio Romano has reported via his Twitter page that his new contract will include a release clause of one billion Euros.
It will be the biggest release clause in Barcelona’s prestigious history and confirms their commitment to the 18-year-old’s future and belief in his potential.
Pedri played 52 games in his debut season at Barcelona, which he started at the age of just 17.
