The Nigerian duo of Anam Imo and Faith Ikidi-Michael played all minutes as their Swedish Damallsvenskan side, Pitea suffered a 2-3 defeat to 2019 league winners, Rosengard on Sunday.

Olivia Schough gave Rosengard the lead in the eighth minute before Anam Imo’s equaliser for Pitea ten minutes later off an assist from Katrina Guillou to score against her former Club. Stefanie Sanders in the 34th goal scored to restore Rosengard’s lead.

In the second half, Sofia Wannerdahl equalised for Pitea before Stefanie Sanders with her second goal of the game sealed victory for the visitors.

Imo has now scored five goals in 19 league games this season for Pitea since joining them from Rosengard.

Pitea occupies the 11th position and are a place above the relegation zone with 16 points from 20 games.
