Oyo State has raked in more medals at the 6th National Youth Games.

Six medals comprising of two gold, one silver and three bronze medals have been won on day four at the U-15 event going on in Ilorin, Kwara State as at the time of this report.

Medals were won in canoeing, darts, ayo olopon and cycling.

Aaron Kehinde paddled to glory to win gold in canoeing 200m K1 becoming the third gold medalist for team Oyo at the games. The duo of Olojede Basit and Oguntoyinbo Ridwan increased the Pacesetter State gold medals to four with a victory over their Delta counterpart in Ayo Olopon male doubles final.

Meanwhile, Julius Alemede won bronze in canoeing 200m C1 while Faudat Raifu and Aishat Omolomo won bronze in Darts 501.

Cyclist, Charity Olawale won her third medal at the games winning bronze in the road race category. Her third bronze at the event.

The only silver medal as at the time of this report was won by Olasupo Tope silver in canoeing 200m Para K1.

Team Oyo has now amassed 15 medals in total, four gold, two silver and nine bronze medals as at the time of this report.
