Chima Moneke continues explosive start to life with Manresa, as he helped the Spanish outift to a 84-75 win over Michael Eric’s Unicaja in the Spanish men’s Basketball league.
Moneke who missed out on the final Tokyo 2020 Olympics roster, scored 10 points 6 rebounds for Manresa, who just won their third game of the season, out of six played so far, 3/3. Manresa had five other players with double figures.
Chima Moneke is averaging 14.25 points per game in the last four Spanish ACB played so far.
After a few initial moments of equality between the two sets, the reds (Manresa) quickly took control of the scoreboard and opened a seven-point lead thanks to a great action from Francisco in the final seconds (25-18).
In the second quarter Pedro Martínez’s men continued to clearly dominate the match, reaching margins of approximately ten points. A great smash of Sima placed the twelve difference in the middle of the confrontation (48-36).
Another Nigerian, Michael Eric was just two rebounds shy of scoring a double double, as his 12 points 8 rebounds recorded, couldn’t stop Unicaja from loosing thier 3rd game of the season.
