D’Tigress of Nigeria point guard, Promise Amukamara has joined French women’s Basketball league side Landerneau Bretagne, Ojbsports reports.

The deal means, Promise will team up with fellow Nigerian and best friend Ezinne Kalu, as they hope to introduce the D’Tigress partnership to the French outfit.

With Marie Butard and Marie Mané being unavailable for health reasons, the club decided to sign Promise Amukamara, who will serve as replacement for the aforementioned duo.

The coach for Landerneau Bretagne, Wani Muganguzi said “The prolonged absences of Marie Butard and Marie Mane have led us to take an additional player for the balance of the team. Promised knowing the championship and being able to make an impact on both sides of the pitch, this is the profile we were looking for. We are happy to be able to count her among us for this freelance. “

Wani Muganguzi was appointed in April 2021 as head coach of Landerneau Bretagne Basket from the 2021-2022 season of LFB, assisted by Virgil Lopez

Interestingly Promise Amukamara could feature against former side, Charnay Bourgogne on Saturday in a league game.
