The trophy for the on going Chief Onigbinde U-17 Football Tourney was presented to the former Super Eagles coach at his residence in Ibadan yesterday.
The trophy which was donated by Italian based former Nigeria U-23 International Matthew Olorunleke; the CEO of Abigol Football Management was presented to Chief Adegboye Onigbinde by Abraham Olorunleke, Manager of Abigoal Football Management.
Abigol Football Management had earlier promised to donate the competition trophy as a contribution towards honouring Chief Onigbinde, the promise was fulfilled when the trophy was presented to the former CAF/FIFA instructor yesterday.
The competition which started on October 20 has reach the quarter final stage which will kick off today.
Young Stars will battle against Phoenix in the first quarter final game with Brightville Gold Academy and Kadesh trading tackle in the second fixture.
The tournament which has produced 42 goals so far will end of Sunday, October 31, 2021.
