Semifinal clashes will take center stage in the age grade competition at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, tomorrow with three teams from Oyo state and one from Osun state left.
In the remaining quarter final games that was played yesterday, Brightville Gold Academy, Ibadan sent out the remaining representative from Lagos, Kadesh FC by two goals to nothing while In an all Osun state affair, Alo Football Academy eliminated Difference Fc, by two goals to one.
Earlier, Oyo Selected and Young Stars booked their semifinal slot on Thursday knocking out Lagos state teams, Phoenix and Lakeside respectively.
The semifinal clashes coming up tomorrow will see by Young Stars will battle against Oyo Selected in the first semis by 8am while Brightville Gold Academy will be up against Alo Football Academy by 10am in the second semis.
Meanwhile, the third place and final of the event has been postponed due to logistics reason. This was done in order to prepare for a well resounding and colorful grand finale.
51 goals have so far been scored in the tournament with Brightville Gold Academy been the highest scoring team with 12 goals while Oyo Selected and Young Stars have the meanest defence having not concede a goal.
