Argentinian midfielder Lucas Ocampos put the hosts ahead in the 15-minutes. Jonathan David equalized by converting a penalty kick before halftime.

Jonathan Ikone took advantage of a rebound to put the French side ahead early in the second half.

Lille’s captain Jose Fonte, believes that Les Dogues improved their game yesterday and increased their chances of winning through defensive solidity, but that the team has not been consistent enough this season.

“The quality is still there. We haven’t forgotten that we’re the reigning French champions and that we have a lot of quality. Unfortunately, we haven’t been consistent.” He said
