As the final phase of the Nigerian Basketball League kick-starts on Friday 12th of November in Abuja, eight teams from two groups will battle for the sole ticket to qualify for the 2022 Basketball Africa League.

Rivers Hoopers, Benue Braves, Gombe Bulls and Police Baton completes Group A, while Kano Pillars, Lagos Islander, Kwara Falcons and Customs are fixed in Group B.

The last game for the day will see 2021 BAL representative for Nigeria, Rivers Hoopers Basketball Club lock-horns with Benue Braves, rekindling hopes of qualifying for the 2nd successive edition of the BAL, while basketball heavyweights Gombe Bulls also tackles Police Baton.

In Group B Kano Pillars will face Lagos Islanders and Kwara Falcons hope to start the campaign with a win as they battle customs.

The NBBF Final 8 will take place from Friday November 12 in Abuja.
