Six players of Hasaacas Ladies CAF Women’s Champions League squad have earned invitation to represent Ghana U20 women’s national team, the Black Princesses ahead of their preparation to face Zambia in third qualifying round FIFA U20 women’s world cup in Costa Rica.
The Princesses are yet to kick a ball in the qualifiers. They were exempted from the first round alongside the some big wigs in women’s football. The second saw their paired opponent, Mauritania withdrew from the qualifier which give easy passage for them to the third round.
Head coach of the Black Princesses, coach Ben Fokuo has decided to call up six members of the impressive Hasaacas Ladies to resume camp immediately after returning from the continental duty.
The contingent comprises of goalkeeper Grace Banwah, Asanah Bugre, Rahama Jafaru, Azumah Bugre, Doris Boaduwaa and player of the tournament, Evelyn Badu.
Ghana will travel for the first leg at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka on the weekend of December 2-4 before hosting the return leg on the weekend of 16-18 December.
