After six weeks of inactivity, the University of Ilorin league resumed  on Friday 26th November 2021 with the LBC putting the league on hold precisely on the 27th of September 2021 in order to allow the students (Players) focus on their first semester examinations.

Big spenders FC Zeus thrashed Aztec four nill at the University Of Ilorin Main Bowl in the opening game of the fifth game week.

A brace from Michael Fashanu who also plays for the school team (UNILORIN WARRIORS) and goals from Samad and Africa were enough to extend their unbeaten run.

On Saturday, UFL witnessed rain of goals with the JAD FC vs Blazing Stars encounter opening the goal fest as their game ended 1-3.

Defending champions City Boys also got the much needed win to put pressure on high-flying FC Zeus with Josiah replicating Ederson of Manchester City by assisting one of the goals that propelled his team to victory.

Skillz FC left it late to stage a dramatic 3-3 comeback against minnows Emirates United on Saturday and the result sees them slip to third on the log.

Leeds FC climbed up the table after smashing four goals past 8 man Real Eagles FC on Sunday. Real Eagles are however the only team without a point in the league so far this term.

Last year’s finalists and One time winners of the UFL, H-High FC proved to be far superior than their counterparts All Stars as they won the encounter by four goals to one. The win sees them retain their top spot and unbeaten just like FC Zeus.
