D’Tigress of Nigeria star Promise Amukamara was the difference for Landerneau Bretagne in tough 48-57 win over Charnay Bourgogne, to qualify for the French Cup semi finals.

Amukamara and Macquet scored 29 points combined in the win. For the second time this season the Nigerian faced her former side (Charnay Bourgogne) since joining Landerneau.

Landerneau Bretagne before this game were on a two-game losing streak, playing their 4th successive game without injured Nigerian point guard Ezinne Kalu, who is out for the rest of year.

Evelyn Akhator was in action for Flammes Carolo, but her 7-point performance wasn’t enough to beat Lyon women, as they fell 79-58 on Saturday evening.

Landerneau Bretagne will challenge Lyon in the next round.
