RB Leipzig have officially fired manager Jesse Marsch on mutual consent.
The American replaced former manager Julian Nagelsmann who is currently at Bayern Munich but has struggled to build on the German’s achievements with the club.
Reliable transfer broker Fabrizio Romano confirms;
“Jesse Marsch will receive a compensation to leave RB Leipzig with immediate effect – the contract will be cancelled.”
The source further added that “some players were not comfortable with his methods too.”
The RB Leipzig board are now working on replacement.
Leipzig are placed 11th on the Bundesliga table with 18 points from 14 games and have been knocked out of the UEFA Champions League.
