Liverpool forward Mohammed Salah has expressed his feelings amidst links to Barcelona.
The Egyptian has had the media mill whirring around his neck in recent times with several reports linking him away from Anfield.
“I read what has been said about Xavi’s interest in recruiting me, it’s something that makes me happy that a team like Barcelona is interested in me” says the former Chelsea and Basel man.
However, the 29-year old has expressed his intentions to stay at Liverpool saying he is ‘happy’ at the club.
“But I am happy at Liverpool. For now, I prefer to stay in the Premier League”.
Mohammed Salah signed for Liverpool for a then club-record fee of £36.9 million and is tied by contract to the club until June 2023.
The two-time Premier league golden boot winner is in an explosive form this season netting 19 goals and providing 9 assists in all competitions for Liverpool this season.
