The UEFA Champions league final group game between Atalanta and Villarreal has now been scheduled to kick-off on Thursday night.

The crucial tie was postponed on Wednesday night after Snow fall rented Atalanta’s Stadium and the entire Northern Italy.

The fixture was delayed for 20mins during which groundsmen packed loads of snow off the turf and painted the pitch lines red but these steps were swept under the carpet as the Snow failed to abate.

The fixture has now been billed to go down tonight by 7pm West African Time.

The winner in this tie books the final ticket and will learn its opponent come Monday when the knockout round draws will take place.

Should the game end in a draw, Villareal will go through.
