Federation of International Football (FIFA) have announced their nominees for FIFPRO eleven women category this year.

The name features popular figures such as Brazil’s Marta, Chelsea’s duo of Sam Kerr and Pernille Harder, USA’s duo of Megan Rapinoe and Alex Morgan and others. Cameroon’s Gabrielle Onguene is the only African on the squad.

The 23 most voted players for the 2021 FIFA FIFPRO Women’s World 11 have been announced.

A formation of 4-3-3 will be used as a guide to naming the finest 11. The goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders and three forwards who received the most votes in their position will be selected for the World 11. The remaining spot in the World 11 will be assigned to the remaining outfield player with the next highest number of votes.

FIFA and FIFPRO will announce the 2021 Women’s World 11 on Monday 17 January 2022 during the ceremony of The Best FIFA Football Awards.
