The former Ajax and Tottenham man slumped on the pitch during Euro 2020 and was immediately rescued by medics and players.

He then recovered and started light trainings before being cleared to return to the round leather game.

The Midfielder was to return to Inter his contracted club but with the latest development, he will have to ply his trade elsewhere where playing with a defibrillator is allowed.
