Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was left infuriated at the Premier League board after a disappointing 1-1 draw away at Wolves.

The Blues have had their share of players testing positive to COVID-19 but the league decided the game went ahead after pleas to get the game postponed like the other six fixtures this weekend.

Speaking at the post-match conference, the German tactician said he wants to speak to the people from the Premier League and added that the league failed to protect its players by ensuring the game went ahead.

“We talk a lot about safety and protecting the players, not so sure if we did this today” The former Dortmund gaffer said.

Chelsea’s draw saw them drop points for the second time this week after they had shared the spoils of a 1-1 draw at home to Everton.

Although the Blues still sit third on the log but are now six points behind league leaders Manchester City who grounded Newcastle 4-0 at St. James’ Park and are three points behind Liverpool who have a game against Tottenham later on Sunday evening.

The three-horsed title race seems to be taking a curve with City pulling away fast and Liverpool on their heels, Chelsea might well have their work cut out for them next year if these poor run of games continue now.
