The agent of Ajax goaltender Andre Onana is set to arrive in Milan ahead of the player sealing a move to Inter.

According to reports gathered through L’interista, the Cameroonian goalie is very close to joining the Nerazurri and his agent will be meeting the club’s management on his arrival to try and close the agreement with the Italian giants.

The La Masia graduate’s contract will be up in the Summer and will be free to join any club under Bosman ruling. With Inter clear to land Onana, he is expected to sign a five-year deal and earn €3 million per season.

Meanwhile, reliable transfer broker Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed the deal as done via his Twitter account saying the Cameroonian will put pen to paper in January and also stated Barcelona aren’t in the picture.

“André Onana will sign his contract as new Inter player in the next weeks [January] – not in December.

He’s joining Inter in June 2022 as free agent, never been in doubt 🤝 🇨🇲 #Inter

Barcelona are not an option for Onana – he’ll join Inter for 2022/23 season. Here we go confirmed.”

Onana had just finished serving a nine-month ban due to doping violation and could have even been away for a longer period if not for the ruling of the Court of Arbitration for Sports.

Onana was part of the 2018/19 Ajax side led by Ten Haag who reached the Semifinals of the Uefa Champions League.
