Matchday 8 kicked off in style as Unbeaten high-flyers FC Zeus destroyed Marine FC 0-9.

The one time League champions were helpless. Michael Fashanu stole the show by scoring double hattricks in the game.

FC Zeus’ win secures their Super Four spot.

JAD’s former players Shina Olawale, Godwin and Abdulmalik played pivotal roles in the club’s three nill loss to City Boys FC on Saturday.

Both Shina and Godwin grabbed one goal each against the Sam Loco led side.

After Fashanu had scored six goals and overtook Dembele Jnr on the goalscoring chart, the H-High FC forward replied with a brilliant goal in the Yellow Army’s two nill win over Emirates United.

On Sunday, the fierce encounter between Skillz FC and Leeds FC was a very heated one with Covenant (Skillz FC) receiving a red card in the team’s one nill win over Leeds FC.

This win however doesn’t assure Skillz FC of a Super Four spot yet unlike H-High FC, City Boys and FC Zeus.

There are two games left for both sides and the next game is determinant of who takes it.

In the late kick off game, All Stars never gave room for Real Eagles to maintain their momentum as they defeated their visitors by three goals to one.

The League will be resuming on the 7th of January, 2021 due to the Christmas and New Year Celebrations.

In other news, Zikouph has joined FC Zeus on a free from JAD FC with him also grabbing a debut goal in the win over Marjne FC, Ahmed Ahmed also accompanied the fullback from JAD FC to FC Zeus.

Blazing Stars shining light, Oladimeji, has left Blazing Stars FC on a mutual agreement and has joined defending champions City Boys FC.
