Former Golden Eaglets of Nigeria star and Hammarby IF of Sweden midfield Akinkunmi Amoo has been named as a Sports Ambassador by his former school Brightville College.
At the end of the year ceremony that took place at Brightville Academy yesterday, the 19-year-old was honored as a Sports Brand Ambassador. The school Principal, Dr Friday Ogada had the honour to present the award to a boy he nurtured by himself.
Dr Ogada who also is the Chairman, Oyo State Athletics Association showered praise on Akin for his steady growth in the game while also urging him to be an example for the upcoming ones. “I am so proud of you my star boy, you have made all of us proud at Brightville Academy,” Ogada said.
