Ejuke Chidera has expressed his delight at being included to the Super Eagles’ 28-man list for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, describing it as a “dream come true” to play for his country.

The 24-year-old midfielder in a chat with multimedia journalists Victor Modo said that he is excited to be a part of the team going to Cameroon.

 “It’s a dream come true because we’ve been praying for opportunities like this to represent the country. For me to be among one of those guys that are going there, I’m excited and I’m looking forward to what’s going to happen over there.”

Chidera was named the CSKA Moscow Player of the Month for September, and he has four goals and three assists in 18 league appearances for the Horses, who are presently in fourth place in Russia’s top flight.

The pacy dribbler since making his debut on October 13,2020 for Nigeria now has 6 caps to his belt.

The Africa Cup of Nations begins on January 9 in Cameroon, with Nigeria’s campaign beginning on January 11 against Egypt.
