The Nigeria Women Football League have announced the nominees for both the Player of the Month and Manager of the Month awards for December 2021.
The league which kicked off in December has seen three Matchdays come alive across different centres in the country.
In the Players category, Naija Ratels’ Olamide Adugbe who has scored four goals this season has been nominated alongside Mercy Omokwu of Confluence Queens who has also netted four times this season and Nassarawa Amazons’ Abigail Sunday who has two league strikes to her name completes the trio.
In the Managers category, three coaches have also made the cut and they are Laidi Bashiru of Confluence Queens, Bankole Olowookere of Naija Ratels and womens football veteran Christopher Danjuma of Nassarawa Amazons.
Meanwhile, the NWFl won’t be in action this week while Rivers Angels will be hosting Abia Angels next week Wednesday.
Delta Queens will be on a bye.
