The Violets are on the lookout for a replacement for the Serbian centre-forward, who is apparently being pursued by Arsenal.

If the Serbian striker’s deal to Arsenal goes through, Paul might be on his way to Fiorentina to replace star man Dusan Vlahovic.

According to the Sun, Arsenal offered Fiorentina 46 million pounds plus Lucas Torreira (12.5%) in an attempt to persuade the Violets to sell their 21-year-old star.

If that deal goes through, according to Voetbalnieuws, Fiorentina will try to lure Onuachu away from Genk.

Last season, the Nigerian international was the top striker in the Belgian Jupiler, scoring 33 goals in 38 games.

He was unable to leave Cegeka Arena, though, as offers from Arsenal, Lyon, and West Ham fell through.

Despite this, he has rebounded from last summer’s setback and a slow start to the season.

Onuachu has scored 12 goals in 18 league games this season, and he would have scored many more if not for injuries.

Before selling their lanky talisman, the Smurfs will seek a sum of roughly 21 million pounds.
