Super Falcons and Barcelona Femeni attacker Asisat Oshoala has resumed full training on Friday afternoon.
It was confirmed via the club’s Twitter handle that the four-time African women footballer of the year has shaken off a knee injury she had been nursing since November last year.
The former Arsenal and Rivers Angels star hobbled off with a knee injury during a UEFA Womens Champions League tie against Hoffenheim early November although the Spanish club would go on to claim a 4-0 victory of the German side.
Scans further revealed she had gotten her posterior cruciate ligament injured.
She went on to be sidelined for eight matches in all competitions.
Although for the past three weeks the club has been giving updates relating to the player’s recovery process but have now announced her full return.

Oshoala will now be available for selection ahead of Barcelona women’s next game tomorrow against Granadilla Tenerife and could make a cameo.
Barcelona Women are flying high in all competitions as they are yet to lose a league tie after 15 matched played. They lead the pack with 45 points and have scored over 80 goals.
Ever since joining the Spanish side in 2019, Oshoala has won six major titles tasting success in the Primera Division back to back in 2019/20 and 2020/21 as well as lifting the UEFA Women’s Champions League in 2020/21 becoming the first African female to achieve the feat.
She also added the 2020 Supercopa Femenina to her trophy chest and the Copa de la Reina in 2020 and 2021.
The former Dalian Quainchang forward is up for the Nigeria Pitch Awards having recently bagged a nomination alongside Gift Monday and Uchenna Kanu in the Queen Of The Pitch category.
