The penultimate week of the normal season kicked off with a high profile encounter that lived up to its billing.

Big boys H-High FC and Skillz FC faced off in the weekends opener with 10 man H-High FC coming out victorious.

Dembele’s brace was enough to sink the Abidoye led side.

The win seals the top spot for H-High FC in Group B.

On Saturday, Emirates United hosted relegation threatened Real Eagles FC. It was a game that would decide the fate of the Eagles.

They however needed a win to keep their survival hopes alive but it ended on a sour note for them as they lost by three goals to two.

AZTEC’s revival under coach Paul Young continued as they demolished sorry Marine FC by three goals to nill courtesy of goals from Toyosi, Osuntayo and Wolly.

High flyers FC Zeus didn’t take their foot off the pedal also as they crushed JAD FC with a margin of four goals and in the process, they keept a clean sheet.

Michael Fashanu got a brace in the game and expanded the gap between he and Dembele on the goal scorers chart.

Dembele is on 11 goals while Fashanu is currently on 15 goals. Both forwards have qualified for the Super Four.

Defending champions City Boys FC got a win once again with them strolling past Blazing Stars. The game ended four nill in favor of the boys from the city.

Olawale Shina continued his blistering form by netting a brace also.

In the last game of the week, Leeds FC lost to All Stars FC. Ahead of the game, Leeds were looking forward to pile pressure on Skillz FC for a final day drama but it ended in tears.

As it stands, FC Zeus, City Boys FC and H-High FC have all qualified for the super four.

Skillz FC’s fate will be determined on or before the matchday 10 due to the outstanding game All Stars have with Emirates United.
