Royal Queens lost 3-0 away to Bayelsa Queens no thanks to first half strikes from Aderemi Mary, Sunday Juliet and Juliet Bassey.

Rivers Angels were the biggest winners this Matchday as they walloped Abia Angels 4-0.

Maryann Ezeanagu opened scoring for the side as early as the fifth minute and they saw their lead doubled by Cecilia Nku with just 16 minutes into the encounter.

Maryann Ezeanagu completed her brace in the 77th minute before Chiamaka Okwuchukwu confirmed victory for the defending champions three minutes from stoppage time.

Rivers Angels thus remain the only side yet to concede a goal this season in the NWFL having netted nine unreplied goals.

Apart from Osun Babes, Adamawa Queens and Sunshine Queens also secured their first win of the season while Royal Queens, Abia Angels and Pelican Stars are yet to score a goal but have conceded nine, six and seven goals in that order.

A total of sixteen goals were scored in this Matchday as well as four clean sheets from the six home sides that secured maximum points.
