Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling and manager Pep Guardiola have been named the EA SportsFIFA Premier League player of the month and Barclays Manager of the months awards respectively.
It was a clean sweep for City who won all their games in December and opened up an eight-point lead on the league standings.
Sterling fended off challenge from teammate, Joao Cancelo, Arsenal pair of Martin Ordegaard and Gabriel Martinelli, Leicester midfielder James Maddison, Chelsea youngster Mason Mount and Spurs winger Son Heung-Min.
He was involved in all but one of the six games, the Englishman netted a league-high five goals within that period and also provided an assist against Westham.
The former Liverpool winger also reached a milestone of 100 Premier League strikes with his goal against Wolves that same month.
Sterling kick-started December by assisting Ruben Dias’ opener in a 2-1 win at Aston Villa, before following up with scoring first in a 3-1 success at Watford.
He became the 32nd player to score 100 Premier League goals with a penalty to earn a 1-0 victory against Wolves and he went went on to net another at Newcastle United, while he struck a brace in thrilling 6-3 Boxing Day win over Leicester City.

Manager Pep Guardiola also won the Manager of the month award at the expense of Jurgen Klopp, Antonio Conte and Mikel Arteta.
The Spaniard tactician steered the lague leaders to win all their games as they finished the month eight points clear at the top of the table.
Guardiola has now been named Barclays Manager of the Month 11 times, the third highest. Only Sir Alex Ferguson (27) and Arsene Wenger (15) have claimed the award on more occasions.
