Lozano celebrates a goal in Napoli’s 2-0 win over Bologna in the Serie A

The Nigerian international had sustained an eye socket injury during a Serie A match against Inter Milan in which they lost 3-2 last year, and was set to be sidelined for three months which saw him miss out of the Afcon for Nigeria.

Although the player had returned to training earlier with a face mask, declared himself fit for Afcon and was included in Nigeria’s squad for the continental assignment but was announced to have tested positive for Covid-19 and the club subsequently ruled him out of participation at Afcon which led to his name being removed from the national roster.

Osihmen has scored Nine goals in 15 games across all competitions for Napoli this season.
