Guinea and Senegal have booked their place in the last sixteen from Group B at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Although Zimbabwe have been knocked out, their 2-1 win over Guinea will be remembered by their fans for a long time.

Knowledge Musona opened scoring for the Warriors in the 26th minute jumping to finish off a cross with a superb header.

Their lead was doubled at the stroke of halftime by Kudakwashe Mahachi who shot had a touch from the goalkeeper before going in.

Guinea pulled one back three minutes after restart with a long range effort from Liverpool’s Naby Keita who will now miss their last-16 game having received a yellow card during the game.

Zimbabwe’s win is their first Nations Cup win since 2006, although they still finished bottom of Group B.

Salima Mukansanga who was making history as the first female referee at Afcon showed six yellow cards on her landmark outing in the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo.

In the other group game Senegal played out a 0-0 draw with Malawi.
