Serie B outfit Parma have confirmed the signing of Simy Nwankwo on loan from from Salernitana till the end of the 2021-22 season with an option to buy.

Simy Nwankwo has had a rather poor season with the struggling Garnets, scoring one goal and assisting one in 19 appearances, the Parma side will hope Simy finds his scoring boots as they look to move higher on the love. They currently sit 12th.

He will wear the 99 jersey

Nevertheless, the Nigerian forward knows the second flight of Italian football very well. He has found the net 34 times across two seasons.

He is ranked as Crotone’s all-time top scorer with 66 goals in 159 appearances across Serie A (30), Serie B (34) and Coppa Italia (2).

The 29-year-old holds the record as the first African footballer to have won top scorer in an Italian league.
