MFM FC’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr Olukoya, has fired the club’s leaders following their dismal performance in the ongoing 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

The Boys from Agege have had a difficult start to the season, suffering three home defeats in the league, dropping them into the relegation zone.

Dr Olukoya announced the termination of the whole technical crew of the squad just before the start of their matchday 11 against champions Akwa United.

Aside from dismissing the technical staff, the club board was also disbanded, much to the delight of their fans and supporters.

MFM FC is currently in nineteenth place on the log, having won only two of their 11 games and losing eight.

The Lagos-based team finished tenth on the log the previous season.

Before the team’s next game in the league, the General Overseer is anticipated to designate a new board of directors.
