Eguavoen, the coach of the Super Eagles, is on his way to England to talk to Eze and Olise about transferring to Nigeria.
Augustine Eguavoen, the head coach of the Nigerian Super Eagles, and several of his assistants have come to England to meet with Crystal Palace pair ahead of the World Cup qualifiers, in which Nigeria will face Ghana.
Augustine Eguavoen was spotted with his assistant, Emmanuel Amuneke, who was just appointed by the Nigeria Football Federation, according to Owngoalnigeria.
They’ll also speak with some senior national team players and go over bonus issues.
An official in the NFF reportedly told Owngoalnigeria that they have been contact with Michael Olise and fellow team mate Eze.
“Contacts have been made already with Eze and Olise. as for Ademola Lookman he has been secured but Eze and Olise need to hear from the coach what his plans are for them. Southampton Nathan Tella and Ovie Ejaria of Reading will also will also meet with the coach if possible.
“The idea is to get the best readily players available to represent the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Football development is all encompassing. Talents eligible or Nigeria should be convinced to play for the country.” he told OwngoalNigeria
Nigeria’s Super Eagles will face Ghana in their quest for a World Cup berth.
On the 24th of March, the Super Eagles will play Ghana away from home before returning home on the 29th of March.
And if it all goes perfectly, Eze and Olise would be able to represent Nigeria in the next matches against Ghana.
