Former Nigeria international Kingsley Obiekwu has received a donation of two million naira from Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa.
In a previous interview, Obiekwu, a member of the Atlanta ’96 Olympics Golden Dream Team, stated that he uses his only automobile for commercial transportation to support his family.
The former athlete, who previously played for Rangers International FC, Enugu United, and Udoji United, claimed he got into the transportation business to help support his family.
Ahmed Musa was motivated by reports of Obiekwu’s financial problems and has stepped in to help him financially.
