Thomas Partey has been named Arsenal’s February’s Player of the Month.
The Ghanaian midfielder was in outstanding form throughout February, as Arsenal won all three of their Premier League matches.
He won one man-of-the-match award and recorded one assist in the three games played in the month of February.
Ten man Arsenal defeated Wolves in the week 24 fixtures with Partey putting on a stellar performance in the middle of the park.
He then was impressive in Arsenal’s victory against Brentford, dominating the middle of the park as the north London team claimed another hard-fought three points.
With Arsenal fighting for a spot in the Champions League qualification, Mikel Arteta men came from a goal down to beat Wolves at the Emirates stadium.
Partey had a good game against Wolves, particularly in the second half. He created three chances, completed three take-ons, won six duels and two free-kicks, as well as making 13 ball recoveries.
Thomas Partey finished with 49 per cent of the vote, narrowly edging out Martin Odegaard, with Bukayo Saka in third.
