Zurich FC winger, Tosin Aiyegun is set to switch allegiance from Nigeria to Benin Republic.
The 23-year-old Lagos born striker has been included in Benin Republic friendly games against Liberia (March 24), Sudan (March 27) and Togo (March 29).
Aiyegun started his football career in Real Sapphire Football club, Lagos before joining Latvian outfit, Ventspils, scoring 33 goals in 72 appearances.
In 2019, he joined Swiss club FC Zurich on a contract to keep him till 2023.
His last goal for Zurich was in a derby game against Grasshoppers FC. Zurich currently comfortable tops the log with 59 points, 12 points above second, Basel.
The Zurich FC right winger is eligible for Benin Republic through his mother and Nigeria through his father.
