Ghanaian and Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has reportedly converted to Islam after months of studying the religion at his base in England.

The former Atletico Madrid midfielder is yet to confirm his switch of religions, but pictures surfacing online have confirmed he’s now a Muslim. The change of religion from Christianity to Islam for Partey comes just before Ramadan.

Partey joined English side, Arsenal from Atletico Madrid of Spain in 2020 for a fee of 50 million euros.

The Ghanaian vice captain was named Arsenal’s February’s Player of the Month. He was in outstanding form throughout February, as Arsenal won all three of their Premier League matches.

He won one man-of-the-match award and recorded one assist in the three games played in February.
