Serie A side, Napoli FC will only listen to offers in excess of 100 million euros for Victor Osimhen, amidst recognisable interest from Premier League sides.

Napoli chairman Aurelio De Larentiis spent a club-record fee of £70m when signing Osimhen from Lille in 2020.

It made him the most expensive African player in history, and De Larentiis is not prepared to allow Osimhen leave on the cheap.

The former Lille striker has found the back of the net 11 times and he has provided three assists in the Serie A this season.

He became the first Nigerian to score in double figures in two consecutive Serie A campaigns having scored 10 goals in 30 league appearances last season.

According to La Gazzetta dello sport, Napoli rejected a big offer from Newcastle United in the summer, but could be tempted to let him leave this summer.

Speaking after his recent brace for the Partenopei against Udinese on Sunday; “A very important victory for us,” Osimhen told the media. “There was an incredible atmosphere in the second half which helped us. I thank the fans for their support.” Osimhen said.

Manchester United’s interim coach, Ralf Rangnick is interested in signing the 23-year-old forward, amid doubts over the futures of Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani.
