Nigeria goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye has been ruled out of the ruled out of Ghana vs Nigeria due to illness.

The 22-year-old goalkeeper couldn’t make the trip from Netherlands to join the three times African Champions, Nigeria in Abuja due to Covid19 related issues.

The Sparta Rotterdam goalkeeper has been replaced by Enyimba goalkeeper John Noble. And with the look of things, Francis Uzoho will be in goal against the Black Stars of Ghana.

Nigeria take on Ghana in the 40,000 –capacity Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi as from 7.30pm on Friday 25th March, with the reverse leg set for the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Tuesday, 29th March from 6 pm. 

The winner over two legs will earn one of Africa’s five tickets to the 22nd FIFA World Cup finals, scheduled for 14th November – 18th December this year in Qatar.
