Cameroon goalkeeper, Andre Onana has reportedly survived an accident on his way to Douala from the country’s capital, Yaounde.

The 25-year-old Ajax shot stopper was travelling by road to team up with the rest of the team when the accident happened.

Fortunately, reports claim that he escaped from the crash unhurt. And there were no other casualties except for the vehicles in the collision.

Reacting after the crash, the 2018 African best goalkeeper said he his okay and focusing on the game against Algeria.

“I am okay and I’m heading to the camp. We have a crucial game,” Onana said to Cameroonian journalist, Njie Enow.

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon host 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Champions, Algeria, three days from now, 25th of March, Friday at the Limbe stadium, while the second leg will be played in North Africa four days later.

The winner over two legs will earn one of Africa’s five tickets to the 22nd FIFA World Cup finals, scheduled for 14th November – 18th December this year in Qatar.
