Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has labelled Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola “the best coach in the world” ahead of Sunday’s Premier League showdown with City.

Jurgen Klopp’s men travel to Etihad with only one point behind the reigning champions in the table.

“Pep is the best coach in the world and we all would agree on that. If anybody doubts him, I have no idea how that could happen.” Jurgen Klopp said.

A win for Manchester City will see them extend their lead by four points. A lead Liverpool reduced to one point from 15 points between January and April.

Victory for Liverpool at the Etihad would lift them two points above Guardiola’s men in the table with seven games to go in the 2021-22 Premier League season.

“I cannot decide what people think, but we can just go through the possible results.

“If we win we are two points ahead, we lose we’re four points behind. If it’s a draw, one point behind – that is it. Does anyone think that’s done and dusted?”

“A very important game. I like it, if we were fourteen or fifteen points behind it will still be a good game. We’ve qualified for a good game with the season we’ve played so far” Klopp concluded.
