Paris Saint Germain head coach, Mauricio Pochettino is set to leave the Ligue 1 champions at the end of the season, according to Le Parisien.

The 50-year-old gaffer won his first career League title with the French capital side yesterday, adding to the two trophies he’s won with PSG.

Speaking after the 1-1 draw against RC Lens at the Parc des Princes yesterday, the former Tottenham said : “A title is a title. He is given the value he has. We are happy. This is the 10th in the club’s history.

“Yes, the evening was weird, the circumstances too, but it’s a thing of the past. We must learn from this experience to build in the future.

Pochettino was heavily linked with the Manchester United job, but couldn’t get the job as Manchester announced the signing of Dutch and Ajax coach, Erik Ten Hag.

“All the rumours throughout my football career have never really affected me,” Pochettino said before the Lens game.

“I don’t comment on rumours either. When I have been in charge of Southampton, Tottenham and now PSG, I have always been fully committed.

Rumours are rumours, we don’t need to pay attention to them now. We know they exist and they are generated on a daily basis. As always, we are focussed on our job at the club.” He concluded.

A financial settlement of 15m euros is set to be finalised by PSG and the Argentine.
