Borussia Dortmund’s forward, Erling Haaland is set to move to the Etihad stadium any moment from now, as per David Ornstein.
Manchester City have been searching for a natural forward since the departure of Argentine forward Sergio Aguero, who joined FC Barcelona last summer on a free transfer. And it looks like the long search is now over.
Etihad officials are expected to conclude their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund’s 21 year-old striker Erling Haaland, with the Norwegian international making the switch ahead of the new campaign, and linking up with his new manager and teammates in pre-season.
Speaking yesterday, Sunday as a guest on the Sport1-Doppelpass , Dortmund Chief, Sebastian Kehl said the club will have clarity on the future of Erling Haaland by next week.
“I know what is in the contract, we are bound by the exit clause,” Kehl said. “We have tried in the last few months to reach a decision on Erling’s future.
“But then came the death of Mino Raiola. Unfortunately, the issue has dragged on a bit. But I think we will have clarity in the next week.
The Black and Yellow team are already preparing for life after the Norwegian, with Salzburg Karim Adeyemi been their top target.
