Petro de Luanda have reached the semi finals of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) following their 102-89 win over AS Sale on Saturday.

Petro finished 19 of 36 from behind the arc in the game.

Carlos Morais had a game high 27 points, four rebounds, three steals and four assists including five 3-pointers for Petrol de Luanda.

Lukeny Gonclaves had a double-double 14 points,10 rebounds and four assists to go with it.

Childe Dundao added 19 points, four rebounds and five assists while Abouncar contributed 12 points and seven rebounds.

For Sale, Amadou Abdoulaye Harouna scored a team high 20 points while Terrel Stoglin Ousmane Drame both scored 19 points each in the game.

Petro de Luanda took a 50-35 lead to the break.

With 5 minutes left to play, AS Sale reduced the deficit to 10 (90-80) but Petro did enough to reach the semi finals for a second consecutive BAL season.

The win makes it the third straight victory for the Angolan champions after beating AS Sale twice in the maiden edition of the BAL.
