Destiny Udogie, 19, who had a spectacular season on loan from Hellas Verona to Udinese last season has left the U21 camp of the Italian national team at the last international break.

The Udinese star defender born to Nigerian parents may have hinted with his recent actions that he could be open to represent the Super Eagles.

The 19-year-old who has been recently linked to Inter Milan is reported to be unhappy about Roberto Mancini excluding him from the Italian Senior Team Squad despite the manager fielding in a lot of non-regular players per owngoalnigeria.

However, the player from Nigeria descent was initially reported to have left the Italian camp to seal a deal to Inter Milan.

Udogie bagged 5 goals annd 4 assists for Udinese last season and have been previously approached by the Nigerian Football Federation to represent Nigeria.

The Verona born left back will have to contest Zaidu Sanusi, Calvin Bassey for a starting place should he choose to play for Nigeria.
