The Warriors have won their fourth NBA Championship ring in their sixth final in eight years at the TD Garden this morning (WAT).

Steve Kerr side won the Game 6 in Boston to win the final 4-2 after trailing 2-1 in game 3. This makes it their seventh NBA title overtaking Chicago Bulls in third.

Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green became only the second trio to win four titles together after the famous San Antonio Spurs trio.

Klay had an emotional Championship winning night after being out injured for over 2 seasons.

On the back of having the worst points accumulated two seasons ago, Warriors have bounced back from their lowest point to prove all doubters wrong.

After trailing 14-2 minutes into the first quarter, Warriors went on a run of their own to win the quarter by 5 points and went ahead to clinch a 103-90 victory at Boston was enough to seal the Championship and doom Ime Udoka’s Celtic to another championship hunt.

The most prolific NBA 3’s shooter waa pivotal in the the 7th championship win for the Golden State warriors and he was rewarded with his first ever final MVP award.

Stephen Curry has been previously criticized for his defensive ability but this final MVP title puts him in the shout as one of the greatest of all time. He now joins an exclusive list of LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal, Michael Jordan as the only players to win 2x MVP and 4x Championship rings.
