Taiwo Awoniyi is being linked on a move from Union Berlin to Nottingham Forest this summer.
The Newly promoted premier league side and two times Europan Championship [UEFA Champions League] winners have inquired on the possibility of signing the Nigerian forward
The Super Eagles forward scored 20 goals in 43 games and was very influential for the Berlin based team. Awoniyi qualified the team for the UEFA Europa League and could be showcasing his abilities on the continent should he choose to stay with the German side.
However, before joining Union Berlin, Awoniyi has been loaned to club in Germany, Netherlands and Belgium from Liverpool before settling down with the Die Eisernen (The Iron Ones) last summer.
The 24-year-old has a €20 million release clause on his contract. This means that the Nottinghamshire team will have to break their €13 million highest transfer record to sign the young Nigerian.
